Sound Control welcomes Travellin Rose

Travellin Rose Crossed the pond and comes to  Nasvhille for their Debut Album

New country music sensation, Travellin Rose, are a spitfire duo from London, England. They write sassy lyrics with plenty of attitude, and these self proclaimed ‘trailer trash’ girls have the talent to back it up.
Kelly Lee and Talia Smith were introduced by a mutual friend who knew of their love of country music and their songwriting abilities. Both girls hit it off instantly and within no time at all they had an ever growing catalogue of songs and they wondered what to do with them.......and Travellin Rose was born...........
If you ask the girls to describe the duo they both laugh and say 'Trailer Trash'......but in a good way' they add.... then they start to explain...
Well that's what we are,...we both live in trailers, drive pickup trucks, and listen to country music......we have been called walking talking stereotypes...but we are proud to be so, and all of our songs are written from this perspective because that's what we are, and as our song says 'I am what I am, and that's all I wanted to be'.....

In November 2011 Travellin Rose made the trip to Nashville TN, to record five tracks for their debut album, with Mark Moseley at Sound Control Studio on Music Row. They also performed at the famous Nashville Palace and at The International Country Music Party at the Cadillac Ranch. They released their first single "Made Up My Mind" to Hotdisc in December, which went straight in to the Top 40 at No 2. The girls are heading back to Music City and SoundControl in early 2012 to complete their album, which will be released in the Spring.....
